FAQ's
My proposal was accepted, can I apply for a scholarship?
Presenters unable to purchase a conference registration are encouraged to apply for a scholarship. However, due to budget limitations, scholarship availability is considerably reduced this year. WSPHA will strive to award as many scholarships as possible, though full coverage may not be guaranteed.
How does the scholarship work?
Once a scholarship is awarded and accepted, WSPHA will handle your complimentary membership and conference registration. Recipients are responsible for arranging their own lodging and travel. WSPHA will provide all scholarship recipients with detailed instructions via email on how to submit travel reimbursement claims after the conference.
When do I know if I was awarded a scholarship?
The first round of scholarships will be awarded the first week of August. You will be notified via email. If you have any questions please email info@wspha.org. If you applied for a WSEHA Student scholarship please contact megan@wseha.org.
